What we collect and why
When you request a booking we collect your name, organisation, address, phone number and email address. We use these solely to manage your hire of the hall — confirming your booking, taking payment by bank transfer, sending optional reminder emails about your event, and contacting you if anything changes. This is processing necessary for a contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
When you use the contact form we keep your name, contact details and message so a volunteer can reply (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)).
What we don't do
We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, we don't sell or share your details with anyone, and we only email you about your own booking or enquiry. The website sets only the technical cookies needed for forms to work securely.
How long we keep it
Personal details attached to bookings and contact messages are automatically removed 24 months after the event or enquiry. Anonymised booking records (dates and room usage, with no personal details) may be kept longer for the charity's records.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you — just email bookings@tilstonvillagehall.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
